Jason Fischer takes everyone's favorite plumbers from Brooklyn and turns them in to food versions of themselves. You got a meaty version of Mario and a veggie version of Luigi. How cool are these?

I_Mandy Takes Beyonce's 'Halo' And Makes A Great Harry Potter Fan Vid, 'Hallows'
This is one of the better Fan Videos that I have seen in my many hours perusing the Internet. It really works with the music that was picked for a background, the lyrics are funny and go with the topic, and it doesn't hurt that Mandy over here is a bit of a looker (she is like the Cindy Crawford of chicks making fan videos.. some of these broads are hideous!). If you are fan of the Potter universe, this is a must watch for you. if you hate Harry Potter... well, you can still mute the video and watch Mandy bouncing around for a few minutes with her ample cleavage. There are worse things you can see for three minutes... trust me, I do this EVERYDAY!!!

I Can't Wait For Season 4 Of 'Sons Of Anarchy'
When we last left Jax Teller and his gang of misfit bikers they were about to start a year long prison sentence. Given the crazy state of things during Season 3, that 12 months in the slammer is probably a welcomed vacation for the members of SAMCRO. Anyway, news of Season 4 is beginning to come out. The show will air in the fall, usually it starts right after Labor Day. Also,Danny Trejo will be joining the cast... that can never be a bad thing. He is such an evil looking mother that he is a welcome addition to the motorcycle club drama. Here is the first look at the cast (whoever is left... gosh!) in a teaser poster, and it looks very olde fashion. I like it. How about you???
Sons of Anarchy is one of the best shows on TV. I can't wait to see where they go next. Looking forward to this puppy in the fall. Whats your opinion on S.O.A.? Tell us in the comment section below.

'I'd Buy That...As a Tee!' Vol 14 by Jeff Bond
Summer it is!..... and I could use a few new unique t-shirts to really make a statement without saying a word. A statement like "I'm a geek that doesn't take much of anything seriously...I'm approachable and easily abused."
Here's some of the t-shirts I have my eye on to do just the trick but, there's only one problem....they aren't for sale yet! Please click the links below to the Threadless.com (my favoritest and most user friendly t-shirt contribution site) voting pages for each and give these beauties '5' ratings so I can throw 'em on my charge card one day.
'Mr. Brain Freeze' is a Batty villain of super-sized Slurpee proportions! Drink at your own risk.
'The Untold Origin of the Smoke Monster'...c'mon....you know you thought about it too.
There's a little bit of everything Star Wars in 'FashioniSTAR'.....I see C-3PO junk, R2 bits, Wookie scalps, litesabers, Leia hair etc...

The Red Band Trailer For "Horrible Bosses" Makes Me Want To See This Movie SOOOOO Much More...
![]() |
| Why doesn't this guy want to fuck her? I am concerned... |
What a difference a red band trailer makes. I thought that "Horrible Bosses" was gonna be a mediocre comedy, one that featured a great cast but would play it safe. All the previews have seemed to play it that way. The cast of bosses (Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Aniston, and Colin Farrell) was what worried me the most. I like all three as actors... but would they truly be able to be despicable to the point that they should be killed??? I just wasn't buying it. But my main man Glenn just sent me the Red Band trailer... shall we:
Ok... I guess if this is how the three bosses are gonna act, I'm in!!!! This one looks really funny, and it seems from the lines of all three of the bosses that they are embracing their douche-ness to the fullest extreme. Let me ask you this: Did you ever imagine Kevin Spacey talking about rolling his nuts in shredded coconut or Jennifer Aniston deep throating multiple cock shaped foods while in a nightie and using the word dick in a sentence??? OMG Rachel !!!! I'm looking forward to this one. Hits theaters July 8th!!!

Jim Jeroo Does Some Star Wars Mashups That Would Even Make The Emperor Proud
James Hance, aka Jim Jeroo, is a great artist... that's not really anything to debate. But the thing I love about his work is the direction he takes when he decides what he wants to create. While he has tons of artwork on his website featuring classic movie and comic book characters, I have chosen to focus on some of his 'Star Wars' pieces. These are great. Hope you like them. Get over to Jim's site by clicking here... he has prints for sale for $10!

Wu Tang Wednesday: My Little Wu Tang
How great is this video??? Trust me... its great. Studio B took the old Hasbro classic My Little Pony and mashed it up with one of my favorite Wu songs, "Shame On A Nigga!!!". There is just something about watching Old Dirty repped by a pony in the video. Thanks to Forces of Geek for this tip. Great stuff. Happy Wu Tang Wednesday.

Reservoir Dogs Revisited: 3 Minimalist Posters
'Reservoir Dogs' recently hit Netflix Instant Streaming and I just had to watch it. The film has always held a very special place in my heart... I saw it right after 'Pulp Fiction' came out and I have been a die hard Tarantino fan ever since. It's hard not to love the hard boiled crime noir styling of Buscemi, Madsen, Roth and Keitel... these guys are just masters of their craft. After watching it the other day, I jumped over to Deviant Art to see if I could find some cool Dogs art to feature on CCD. I promise you, these 3 posters will not disappoint.
I decided to feature these 3 because they have a similar minimalist feel to them. Click on the artists names in the caption to see more of their galleries. Which one is your favorite? Tell us in the comment section below.

Panthro Hits The Late Night Circuit
I know this clip is from last week, but it got lost in my inbox and I never watched it till this morning. Say what you want about Jimmy Fallon, but he is a true 80s baby and always reps for my age bracket with things that call back to our childhood. Here he features the black Thundercat Panthro singing the Thundercats theme as a lounge singer, accompanied by The Roots & two hottie dancers. Pretty good makeup and funny stuff. Enjoy...

R.I.P Peter Falk.... A True Hollywood Legend
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of 83 year old Hollywood titan Peter Falk, on Friday evening. Most people know the lovable Falk from his career-defining role as Lieutenant Columbo on TV, but if you are an 80's baby, such as myself, then you definitely know Falk as the Grandfather from 'The Princess Bride'. I have loved Falk since I was a kid... it was just something about his thick New York accent and silly putty face that made me smile. I will miss him dearly.
He starred in two of my all time favorite movies EVER: 'Murder by Death' (1976), and 'The In Laws' (1979). The tears of laughter I have shed watching those two films countless times can't be counted. I have watched parts of 'Murder By Death' at least 50 times in the past two years since I got Netflix Instant. watching Falk on screen with my favorite actor, Peter Sellers, in a Neil Simon production is a must for all true movie fans."I get 50 bucks a day plus expenses... I hate them queeries!!!" 'The In Laws' is one of the greatest buddy comedy movies ever, pairing Falk with Alan Arkin. "Serpentine Shel... Serpentine" And who could forget Falk guest starring in the Favreau/Vaughn comedy 'Made'. "Because you lost my fucking carpet cleaning van, and I don't like you!!!". Priceless....
In honor of his passing, here are a few clips of his work. I hope you guys search out some of his movies. Films like 'The Brinks Job', 'Murder By Death', 'Cookie', 'Made', 'The In Laws', 'The Thing About My Folks', 'The Princess Bride' and 'The Great Muppet Caper' all need a re-watch. Get to it. see ya around Petey... thanks for all the memories!!!

Francesco Francavilla Takes on Season 6 Of Doctor Who
Artist Francesco Francavila is one of my favorite artists that I discovered after starting CCD, and due to the magic of Twitter he has become someone I have been able to correspond with (Thanks for all the RTs & #FF Fran!!!). Anyway, he has been posting links to his 7 posters that he did corresponding with each episode of the first half of Season 6 of 'Doctor Who'. This season has been quite visually stunning (albeit a bit hit-or- miss), and Fran really gets some great imagery going with these. I hope he makes the rest of them when the Doctor returns after its summer hiatus. We will keep you posted... (see what I did there? Posted... on Fran's posters... I am so witty!!!). This one is for my fellow 'Who' fanatics... whatup Bri & Ed!!!!

Check out my girl Corrine Alexis Hall's awesome animation video. It's a compilation of some projects that she has worked on set to the classic track Queen/David Bowie "Under Pressure". This is gonna blow you away:
Wow... this is just so visually stunning!!! I am a huge fan of this song too... just something about it that always resonated with me since my youth. Great minds think alike, huh Corrine??? Look for some CCD/CAH collaborations to come in the near future... I can't wait to work with this girl!!!!

So This Is The New Justice League Of America, Huh??? Meh...
Here is DC's first look of the full Justice League of America team that will be featured in this falls shakeup of the DC universe. It was drawn by Jim Lee and I got it from one of my favorite comic book blogs, It's A Dan's World. Check em out:
They got the core 7 out in front, with one notable exception: Where the hell is Martian Manhunter and what the F is Cyborg from the Teen Titans doing there? I am a bit behind on my DC continuity (but catching up quickly!!!) but I can't see how they can have a incarnation of the JLA without Martian Manhunter.... that green son of a bitch is my man!!!! You can also see some of the supporting characters filling out the background. I love me some Hawkman!!! In my opinion the art is good, but nothing spectacular. I still don't get why DC is doing this whole reboot/re-imagining/alternate shuffling of their characters, but I guess time will tell. We shall see. What do you guys think about this team photo? Tell us in the comment section below!!!

Trailer Trash Talkin: 1981 or Bust!!! by Kristen Grillo
Well aren’t you sandworms in for a treat this week!
A few of my favorite films came out this month, 30 years ago. And watching these trailers have set my geek panties on fire. Surely, they will do the same for you.
History of the World Part I – June 12th, 1981
Starring Mel Brooks, Gregory Hines, Dom DeLuise
Directed by Mel Brooks
Does anyone know why there was never a part II? Do ya? DO YA?
(don’t go & google it either. ya turd.)
Raiders Of The Lost Ark – June 12th, 1981
Starring Harrison Ford, Karen Allen, Paul Freeman
Directed by Steven Spielberg
“Jones, do you realize what the ark IS?!”
“Ba-pa-dumpa! Ba-pa-dummmm….Ba-pa-DUMPA! Ba-pa-dum-Dum-DUM…..”
Despite the 20 seconds of silence at first, which makes me suspect for a moment that I have a slight hearing problem and causes me to crank the volume a liiiittle too loud, the trailer is filled with action! Suspense! Adventure! And wonder for the imagination! But seriously, who are these bad guys again? Yes yes, we KNOW by now who they are because we’ve seen this movie countless times, but really….they just seem to serve no purpose other than pure SABOTAGE. Like snakes! Indy haaates snakes.
Starring Laurence Oliver, Harry Hamlin, Claire Bloom, Maggie Smith
Directed by Desmond Davis
Let me tell you why I think this trailer and movie still kicks ass to this day. Forget that overpriced shitty remake that you watched recently. I’ll take that freakishly creepy stop action medusa over that giant, unrealistic, phony ass kraken from the 2010 version any day. The graphics in this 1981 feature are dope! That’s right! And you know, CGI really stands for “Cartoon-like Garbage Imitation” anyway. The more realistic they try to make things these days, the more silly they come off. Most of the time anyway. OK fine, usually once a year. For the last three years. Around the 4th of July. Yea. I’m talkin’ to YOU, Michael Bay.
Thumbs up for The Clash!
