Tucker & Dale Vs. Evil Looks Good...
... but why do I feel like I just watched the whole move after this 2:30 minute red band trailer? It seems to me like the put an awful lot of the material from the movie in this one. Check it out for yourselves:
I mean, the group of like 7-10 teens that want to get their friend back all seem to bite it in this trailer. Maybe there are even more of them in the movie? I'm not sure. This classic mix-up type movie looks to be funny & gory, so I will give it a shot. Oh, and by the way, was that dude with the dreads the teacher from The Killing on AMC? It was, wasn't it? WHO KILLED ROSIE LARSEN YOU SON OF A BITCH??? WHO DID IT??? ANSWER ME YOU PIECE OF... I mean, er, um, forget it.

The Man In Black Has A Name & It's....
I am so sorry that it took so long for me to post this Lost video, but I got sidetracked earlier in the week and completely forgot. Apparently Damon Lindelof & Carlton Cuse had some fun hijinks plan for the Lost: One Year Later panel at Comic Con. Continue after the jump for the rest of the hysterical panel.

Freddie Wong Is Back... This Time With Jon Favreau Himself!!!
Freddie Wong makes some really great videos that he features on his Youtube page. The guy has a great team and the things they do have taken over the Internet, usually topping a few million views within a few days. This has got the attention of some big shots in Hollywood. Jon Favreau became a fan of Wong, and he decided to collaborate with the Internet entrepreneur on a 'Cowboys & Aliens' themed shoot 'em up video. It is amazing!!! Just continue after the jump to see the new video and an behind the scenes featurette as well. I really love this one. Cowboys & Aliens opens up tomorrow, so this one is right on time.

The Muppets As The Crew Of Serenity
How could Captain Mal Reynolds get any cooler? Make him Kermit The Frog.
The art is the work of the very talented James Hance, who has had his work featured on our site before, and has even gotten the attention of a few of the Firefly cast members.
I gotta say my favorite has gotta be Sam The Eagle as Shepard. Brilliant.

Luke Skywalker, Candyman And Atreyu Serve Up "Sushi Girl"
Who doesn't love to see an ensemble cast of cult movie actors in a some kind of crazed, perverted, sadistic horror flick? There actually seems to be a bit of a renaissance going on with these types of films, with directors like Robert Rodriguez and Rob Zombie leading the charge, and I couldn't be happier about it.

This particular new grindhouse style movie has got one of the coolest "what the WHAT" groups of actors I've ever seen. Including...
Mark Hamill
Tony Todd
Jeff Fahey
Noah Hathaway(Mother Luvin Atreyu!)
James Duval
Michael Biehn
Sonny Chiba
and
Danny Trejo(of course)
Bad. Ass.
Sushi Girl is brought to us by first time feature Director Kern Saxton. His previous work includes a short called "Deader Living Through Chemistry," which was selected by Gerorge Romero for inclusion on the "Diary of the Dead" DVD.
It's not clear what kind of release "Sushi Girl" will receive, but I imagine we can expect a small theatrical release at best, with a big push for the DVD. I will definitely be watching the fudgeneut out of this movie.

Mortal Kombat: Legacy - Episode 9 - Cyrax & Sektor
The end is finally here!!! After a one month wait, the final episode of Mortal Kombat: Legacy was released at this years Comic Con. It features Cyrax & Sektor, two characters I used to love playing as back in the day. This is by far the best of the bunch and you can see why they saved it for last. Here is my thing: If you want to premiere the video at Comic Con, that's cool. Just make sure that you time your release so week 9 hits during Comic Con. Don't release the first 8 early/weekly and then make us suffer for a month. Thanks as always to Exophrine for the tip.

Why Can't They Get Katy Perry For The Live Action Porn Version Of The Smurfs?
Jesus H Christ... Katy Perry is freaking hot!!! Check out these pics from the recent premiere for The Smurfs. Never a shy bird, Katy showed up in a barely there white Smurfette mini skirt that left little to the imagination, especially after she leaned in to pose for a picture with a fan and flashed her purty white panties to the world (see the pic after the jump). Where's the thong Katy? I was a bit disappointed. I grabbed a few key shots of Katy on the red carpet. I also am not a fan of the new blonde hairdo. Don't get me wrong, she still looks hot... but Katy is a blue eyed brunette, and thats the way I like her!!! Damn you Russell Brand....

Avengers Assembled
I remember when I first started hearing the rumors back in 2007, that the upcoming "Iron Man" movie was going to have a cameo appearance by Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, that is going to set up for an Avengers movie............Suuuuuuuuuuure. Now first, I didn't believe it, and second, even if they did include said scene, ain't no way in hell they are gunna be able pull off that kind of big plan.
But here we are, 5 movies later, and less than a year away from an unprecedented comic book movie event. Here's a look a the character posters they unveiled over the weekend at SDCC all together as one giant banner of nergasm.
Click the pic for a big version. I'll let you guess what my current wallpaper is.
Aside from a few bumps (I really wish that was Edward Norton) Marvel looks like they may actually pull this off. An ensemble comic book film, all with predefined singular experiences, helmed by Joss Whedon, one of the best ensemble and genre handlers out there today. Holy crap I say.
I have enjoyed all the movies thus far, as good, fun, "comic book movies." I am eagerly awaiting this. If it doesn't go any further after, I'm totally fine with that, because as I said, I never would have believed it would have even made it this far.
What do you guys think? If the world does end late next year.....are we good?

Just Another Reason To Love Cosplay & Adrianne Curry
This past weekend was the annual shit show that is the San Diego Comic Con, which is a true nerd mecca. Even the celebs get in on the fun, because some of them are geeks at heart to. Case in Point: Adrianne Curry. The very sexy former reality star has long been known for her extreme cosplay costumes over the years. She loves to get all dressed up in some sexy character outfits and is frequently the highlight of any con she attends. Well, this year one of her costumes was so accurate it got her escorted off the floor because it was "Too Sexy"!!! Apparently, the powers that be of at SDCC were not happy with Curry's choice to go as Aeon Flux... aka the girl cartoon character that wears a leather bandana over her vagina. Holy god did Curry get this one right. She is so hot. After being asked to leave, she returned the next day as a sexy Imperial Officer. This lady is the best. Check out my boys over at The Superficial who wrote a funny post about the whole incident and a bunch of more photos after the jump. God bless you Adrianne. You are the best.

Sam The Eagle Is Captain America
Last month the people behind the upcoming Muppets movie parlayed the upcoming mega movie Green Lantern into a cool poster featuring Kermit as the Emerald Knight. Now they are at it again, this time thrusting everyone's favorite patriotic eagle Sam into the Super Muppet program as Captain America. This is wonderful. The new Muppet movie opens on November 23rd here in the US. I for one can't wait! Thanks to Den of Geek for the tip on this one.

The Crippled Masters Is The Sickest Kung Fu Movie You Never Heard Of
Holy. Fucking. Shit. I don't often use prose like that to describe just any movie, but when my main man Lockheed sent me this trailer for the 1979 film 'The Crippled Master' yesterday it was all I could muster up. The trailer shows our two heroes battling the injustice they face because of their severely debilitating injuries. It was downright sickening at times to watch this clip, but awesome nonetheless. That's why it's up here on CCD baby! My man Lock says this is a movie in desperate need of a remake. What do you think? Watch the trailer after the jump and if you don't throw up your breakfast tell us if you think this would make a good movie in the comment section below.

Freddy Krueger In Mortal Kombat...No Like For Real!
Lot's of big new coming in from SDCC and while this isn't as big a reveal as The Avengers trailer, I think it's pretty damn great.
Warner Brothers Interactive announced that Freddy Krueger will be a playable character available as DLC in the latest Mortal Kombat game.
Pretty cool stuff. A couple of criticisms; it does unfortunately seem that this is not the REAL Freddy, meaning the classic Robert Englund. Rather it's the Jackie Earle Haley version from the recent useless reboot. Guess they still have their hopes set on a sequel and want to keep perpetuating the new product. Also I don't really like the two-handed glove thing. I guess it gives him more weapons but, it's just not how Freddy looks. It's too symmetrical. It was probably just too much trouble to program him having extra reach on just one hand. That said, I still dig it.
The latest Mortal Kombat game is excellent, and this is another reason to pick it up, or keep playing. I generally don't get much DLC, but this one I will be picking up.
Freddy's inclusion in this game explains Warner Bros. recent request that Freddy and Jason both be removed from the fan made, horror icon fighting game Terrordrome. Their removal caused the whole project to be put on hold permanently. Damn C&D's!!!! Their request sparked rumors that perhaps WB themselves had a game in the works. This seems to be the result.
Can Jason be far behind...

| What a difference some crack/heroin makes, no? |
... there were people who were shocked over Amy Winehouse overdosing on drugs and killing herself? Why were they shocked exactly? This is the singer who only had one album here in the U.S. (Back to Black), the album that won 5 GRAMMY's.... and no one noticed just how bad Amy was looking after years of prolonged drug use? GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!!!! Take one look at the pictures after the jump, and you won't be puzzled at how Amy died... you will be more puzzled about how she stayed alive so fucking long to begin with!!! She had a great voice, but is in no way a legend and this is not a tragedy. This is another case of a celeb that has all the money and opportunity in the world to seek out help choosing to kill herself. Nothing more to it. In my opinion, she accomplished what she wanted to. She partied until she died. Like C said in 'A Bronx Tale' "There is nothing worse in life then wasted talent". Peace out Amy.... you shoulda went to Rehab, huh?

This May Be The Best Mashup I Have Ever Seen
Alex Ross is a legendary artist in the comic industry and one of my all time personal faves. His work on 'Kingdom Come' and 'Marvel's' is some of the finest art I have ever witnessed in a comic book. But he recently released this mashup drawing featuring the cast of 30 Rock as The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman, and I am utterly speechless. I have no speech... Thank you Jeff Bond for sending this over today. Wow... I would watch a movie with Tracy Morgan as Capatin Nemo all day!!!

Michelle Obama Needs To Hire Rowdy Roddy Piper
He's come here to fight childhood obesity an chew bubble gum. And he's all out of bubble gum.
I could have done with even more crazy violence on children though. I mean if you're gonna go for it, go for it! It's worth watching just to watch Roddy attempt to run in that last part.
I still think Piper is totally entertaining and charismatic. What I wouldn't give to see a buddy cop movie with him and Gary Busey.

This is a cool mashup of the Super Mario Brothers/Donkey Kong video games and Kill Bill. Princess Peach is in all her glory as The Bride, but this time instead of the Crazy 88's it's Koopa Troopa's, Goomba's, Bowser, and Donkey Kong himself she is taking on. Great piece. These Recruitment Posters Make Picking A Side Tough...
Eric Tan has created two new recruitment posters in honor of the new Captain America movie to be released at the Mondo booth this weekend at Comic Con. Since I won't be getting the chance to go there, I am going to share all the cool stuff I come across with you guys here on CCD. These propaganda style posters are wonderful. You can see the Captain America/good guy one above, and after the jump you can see the one touting the Red Skull's Hydra army as the way to go. If I had to choose based on these posters alone, I would probably go with Hydra. I don't know why, but that damn chin strap on Cap's helmet is bothering more and more as we get closer to the movie release. If I joined up with the good guys they might make me wear ridiculous head gear like that, and that's a no no!!! Team Hydra it is...

Not Even Ken Jeong Can Distract Me From Kate Upton
Damn GQ... I always slam the magazine for being filled with a bunch of filler and never really bringing the heat when it comes to their celebrity pictorials (usually they put one or two pics in the cover article). But they had some great photos of Mila Kunis from her cover spread this month, and they also had this photo shoot featuring the hottest model on the planet Kate Upton (how can this specimen only be 19???) and her sexy guy friend being photo bombed by Ken Jeong. These pictures are hysterical, but it is amazing how hot Ms. Upton is in these 5 photos. I think I may have found a new obsession.... sorry Olivia!!!!

Johnny & Uncle Bob by Ninja Ink
Artist Ninja Ink flips the Calvin & Hobbes buddy concept on it's ear with these awesome pieces depicting Johnny & his Uncle Bob from The Terminator series. I love these two pictures. Here is a brief synopsis from Ninja Ink's Deviant Art page talking about his fictionalized comic strip:
Johnny and Uncle Bob is a syndicated daily comic strip that was written and illustrated by American cartoonist James Cameron, and syndicated from October 26, 1984 to August 29, 1997. It follows the humorous antics of John, a foul mouthed six-year-old boy messiah, and Uncle Bob, his stoic robot friend. The strip depicts John's flights of fantasy and his friendship with Uncle Bob, and also examines John's relationships with his mother and psychiatrists. Uncle Bob's dual nature is a defining motif for the strip: to John, Uncle Bob is a cybernetic organism surrounded by living tissue; all the other characters see him as a time travelling villain.

Frank the Bunny by Bubba Shelby
I have always loved the movie Donnie Darko. It holds a special place in my heart, and it helped bring Seth Rogen one step closer to fame (yup, he's in there... I swear!!!). Not to mention the awesome soliloquy about Smurf's & their cocks that Jake Gyllenhaal gives... priceless. I have always liked Frank the Talking Bunny from the movie, and when I visited Bubba Shelby's art blog and saw this awesome rendition of Frank I knew right away I had to throw it up on CCD. Commercially Acclaimed Vol #23 - SoBe - The Staring Contest
TV commercials are a part of our everyday lives as TV viewers. Even though Tivo and DVR have allowed us to "skip through" the commercials, the advertising companies are still trying to peak our interests by coming up with creative commercials. To me, great commercials are an art form and are under appreciated by a society that is always trying to speed through things. Think about it... how many times did you see a great commercial that made you laugh hysterically or want to go out and purchase the advertised product??? And how many times has the best part of the Super Bowl been the commercials during a blow out game??? Whether you want to admit it or not, commercials are cool as shit... and here are some of my favorites.
This weeks ad is for SoBe drinks and is called "The Staring Contest". In it a regular guy is pitted against the gorgeous swimsuit model Kate Upton in a staring contest poolside, and lets just say that Upton is not paying fair. You can see the video and a behind the scenes clip after the jump as well as some pics of the lovely Upton to brighten up your day. Good lord that girls boobs are spectacular. Enjoy the commercials.

Guess Whose Back???
In this past weeks Entertainment Weekly, Starz unveiled their new Spartacus. Actor Liam McIntyre is taking over for the cancer afflicted (and utterly awesome... get well soon brother!) Andy Whitfield, and he is displaying his Thracian might in all its glory. Spartacus: Vengeance is all set to air in January 2012 and I for one can' t wait to see where this show can possibly go next. It may be the most violent and sexual show to ever air on TV, and it all looks so magical. I loved both season 1 (Blood In The Sand) and the prequel miniseries (Gods of the Arena), and if you haven't seen them you should get over to Netflix Instant Streaming and make it happen ASAP. Check after the jump for some more pics of McIntyre in his Spartacus attire and a short (I mean really short) teaser trailer and tell us your thoughts in the comment section below.
